a good weekend, Dorian update

First I will start with the usual Dorian update. He is doing awesome as always, and is 10 lbs 9 oz today. It's so much fun to put him on the scale, because there is always a drastic change! He's got some very cute facial expressions he is trying out for size, and it almost smiling. He has the eyes smiling, and is just waiting for that perfect moment to give us the whole thing :) He's a big wiggle worm, and is the most helpful boy during the night when it comes to getting sleep. Markus and Nathan occasionally try to sneak into our bed though...somehow that is still happening.

Over the weekend we stayed pretty busy, and on Sunday afternoon we went to the Spring Children's Social that the SWMEA put together (for those of you who don't know what that is, it's an alliance of women from the Temple community who have husbands/fiances who are med students/residents). There were kites to fly, balls to play with, sun glasses to wear, and snow cones to eat. Good times were had by all! Markus and Nathan especially liked the playground there, too bad it's not in the best part of Temple :P

The only down side to the afternoon was that I got my first sunburn of the year :P I really need to start remembering that Texas sun is brutal, no matter what the temperature! Until next time...
